The troop also performs outstanding Shakespeare productions in the school that reach over 10,000 students each year. These performances are specially created to reach children in grades three through high school seniors. These performances are based on two of Shakespeare’s most famous works, What Fools These Mortals Be and selections from Romeo and Juliet.
The actors also perform Shakespeare Unplugged. In November, they will be exploring the Henry the Sixth work.
Dallas serves as home to the second largest Shakespeare actors group in the United States. Children and adults alike enjoy the performances. Some of the performances are held outside, while others are held inside. Shakespeare is taught to many school children each year, thanks to the efforts of the actors.
